1971 Wedding Dress
Flower crowns and bare feet, or high heels and mini dresses? This beautiful wedding dress could be worn with way! Created in 1971 by a Drexel University student in their fashion program, this beautiful dress is a classic, with long sleeves and a semi empire waistline and invisible back zipper. The fabric is a lovely cotton blend with a modern eyelet all over pattern, and there is yellow cotton daisy trim around the neck and sleeves. It could be shortened to a post ceremony mini dress which could be worn again and again… One could even have a matching clutch made with the extra fabric!
Measurements: bust: 36 inches waist (taken at empire seam) 32 inches hip approximately 48 inches length 56 inches sleeve length 22 inches
Condition: Good, one small spot on front of dress, faint perspiration marks under arms, but otherwise in great shape
